王英，江苏兴化人。现任紫金山天文台天体化学与行星科学实验室副研究员，硕士生导师。2007年于紫金山天文台获理学博士学位。2011-2012年，美国加州理工学院访问学者。

主要研究方向：通过原始球粒陨石、月球陨石、灶神星陨石和其他无球粒陨石的矿物岩石学、地球化学和同位素年代学研究，揭示太阳系及其行星系统的起源和演化之谜。

先后主持国家自然科学基金青年基金（41003026）和两个面上项目（41973065，41573060），江苏省自然科学基金面上项目（BK2011891），澳门科技大学月球与行星科学国家重点实验室开放课题（039/2013/A2），国家海洋局极地考察办公室对外合作项目（IC201107）等；作为骨干成员参与中科院B类先导专项（XDB4100203），国防科工局民用航天技术预研项目（D020302，D020202），以及多项国家级科研项目的研究工作。在GCA，MAPS，SR等国内外刊物发表论文20余篇。2020年参与国家基金委与中科院组织的《中国行星科学发展战略研究（2021-2035）》的编撰工作。
