毕业于南京大学天文系,2005年获天文学学士学位,2011年获天体物理博士学位。此后任职于中国科学院紫金山天文台。先后在美国麻省理工学院、马里兰大学、哈佛-史密松天体物理中心、麻省大学作访问学者。主持国自然的青年和面上基金,作为骨干成员参与国自然重点、科工局重点等项目。
研究工作围绕星系生态系统这一天体物理前沿方向。一方面,基于现有紫外与X射线高分辨率光谱观测,研究活动星系核反馈与恒星形成反馈的物理机制。这些是星系生态系统中最关键但是尚未充分理解的物理环节。另一方面,布局未来观测,发展空间紫外项目,开拓弥漫源莱曼紫外波段的观测新窗口。全程参与紫外小卫星项目CAFE、空间站莱曼紫外长缝光谱仪项目LyRIC的推进,并给出“宇宙重子紫外探索”空间项目的概念建议。
