  报告人简介:郝奇,男,1988年2月出生。2010年本科毕业于南京大学计算机科学与技术系,2015年6月于南京大学天文与空间科学学院获博士学位。期间于新泽西理工和大熊湖太阳天文台联合培养 (2013-2014年)。此后留校。他的研究领域包括太阳暗条特征的统计研究及暗条高分辨率精细结构的观测,太阳耀斑等活动现象的多波段观测,观测资料的自动化处理及分析等。

  报告摘要:Image processing is a method to perform some operations on an image, in order to get a processed image or to extract a set of characteristics or parameters from it. It is among rapidly growing technologies today, with its applications in various aspects of astronomy and space science. As raw data from imaging sensors from ground-based or space-based telescopes contains deficiencies. To get over such flaws and to get originality of information, it has to undergo various phases of processing. The three general phases that all types of data have to undergo while using digital technology are pre-processing, enhancement and display, information extraction. In this talk, I will talk about some essential definitions and information about image processing. Different applications of image processing methods in solar physics will be discussed and examples for each application will be provided. Finally I will give a brief introduction about how to build an image processing system.
