kinematics and luminosity

I will present a simple analytical model to describe the
orbit, mass evolution of subhalo. This model includes
important physcs governing subhalo evolution:
dynamical friction, tidal disruption, tidal heating. I will
compared the predicted subhalo merger time scale,
radial distribution and subhalo mass function to the Nbody
simulation results. Also I will talk about how to
model the satellite luminosity and show how to
reproduce the Milky Way satellite population.
