题  目：Activity of IRSF for these 10 years and some recent  polarimetric studies

摘  要：I will present a brief review and the current activities of IRSF  (Infrared Survey Facility at SAAO), which was commissioned in 2000  together with SIRIUS(NIR 3-ch camera) at Sutherland. I will show  statistics of visiting observers, obtained PhDs and publications  from IRSF for these nine years.

Polarimetric mode was installed in 2006, simply by adding two  pieces; a half-wave plate and a wire-grid polarizer, called  “SIRPOL = SIRius+POLarimeter”. Since then, polarimetry  has been carried out for star forming regions, dark clouds and the inner regions of the Galaxy.

I will talk on two recent topics based on SIRPOL observations; 1)  Near-Infrared Imaging Polarimetry of the Serpence Could Core:  Magnetic Field Structure, Outflows and Inflows in a Cluster Forming  Clump. and 2) “Near-InfraRed Polarimetric Survey toward the  Galactic Center”.
